“The trouble with not having a goal is that you can spend your life running up and down the field and never score.” Bill Copeland

High performers set goals not resolutions. They get clear on what they want and spend time reflecting on their wishes and dreams. They write their goals down. They follow through with their goals and keep them in mind during the year.

Phrase this Week: I am gritty. I stay focused on where I am going after in 2020. I put in the hours necessary for success.”

“Passion is energy. Feel the power that comes from focusing on what excited you.” Oprah Winfrey

High performers choose positive energy because it makes them & others around them better. They do this by focusing on what they HAVE, not what is missing. They focus on what they can control, not what they cannot control. And the majority of their thoughts/focus is on the present.

Power Phrase this Week: “I generate energy and positive momentum. I bring energy in each situation. I am full of enthusiasm, energy, purpose, and happiness.”

“ Forgiveness is not a one-time thing. Forgiveness is a life-style.” Dr. Martin Luther King

Power Phrase this Week: I let go of resentment and judgement. I free myself of beating myself up and instead, replace it with compassion and grace.”

Adversity causes some men and women to break; others to break records.”  William Arthur Ward

High performers play to win. They take risks, have courage and put themselves out there. They talk to themselves powerfully and embrace the 3 C: challenge, chances, and confidence.
